ACQUINO SIGNATURE we offer on location makeup and hair services based in Pretoria, but travels within the Inter Province Area and beyond! Owned by celebrity makeup artist Halima Alabi aka known as Acquino.

Acquino Signature was founded by Halima Alabi in 2009. Mrs Halima is a Professional makeup artist and hairstylist, who has love and passion for beauty.

Halima has been creating makeup and looks for client both in Nigeria and South African especially with Celebrities and Movie Industry for 14 years plus. Her work has graced the covers on Nigeria movie set such as Make a Move, Common Ground, Brides at War and many more. She has worked with different Producers in the Movie industry.

Also, she was the Former Markup Artist for the Former Nigerian President Good luck Jonathan.

In 2021 Acquino Signature also ventured into 100% human hair under the umbrella of Acquino Strands. The aim is to make sure all women look good in different hair style that will make them confident in their look and style.

Halima is a professional makeup artist and hairstylist currently based in Pretoria East, Gauteng. She travels and has worked on many destinations’ weddings, Movie Set and Private Makeup services.

She is drawn to the femininity of the Movie and bridal industry and worked with more than 121 brides both in South Africa and Nigeria to create their perfect makeup and bridal hairstyle for their wedding day. She believes every face is unique and every bride has their own style. She incorporates modern makeup techniques and products into her classically trained method. Her bridal makeup style transcends all makeup styles from soft and romantic to dramatic and sexy.
